The major component in this L293D Motor Driver module is the L293D Motor Driver IC. This IC is a 16 pin half H bridge motor driver IC. It is capable of driving two DC motors or stepper motors at the same time.
SPECIFICATIONS
- This is a capacitive based module.
- Have to supply 5v input for the operation.
- Spike current protection from motor.
- Maximum current up to 900mA.
- 12V -15V operation mode.
Note: It does not have any 5V regulation and not have reverse current protection (Reverse voltage will damage the IC).
